Kinsale Table Lamp

The third lamp in the five lamps collection is the Kinsale table lamp. The inspiration came from my recent involvement in the fit out of a new brewery in the idyllic setting of Kinsale county Cork. I was tasked with producing some unique bespoke light fittings for the brewery and bar and was very happy with the final look of the fittings and thought it would be apt to cleverly turn one of them into a table lamp.

The Kinsale table lamp is a slightly more imposing lamp with its two vertical arms pointing upwards at different heights. I love the tubular spiral filament LED bulb provides ample light to any space. A simple and elegant design that's perfect for those areas where you need a less imposing more subtle lamp. Perfect for work or study areas or even on shelves or tight to fit areas.

It uses an old 1.25 kg weight plate from a barbell weightlifting set which was purchased from a local buy and sell app and has been retreated and painted mat black. This gives it the perfect grounding to accentuate the beautiful form of the copper pipe above.

The copper pipe used is salvaged from the heating and plumbing and renewable sector in Ireland and over 75% of the material used has been recycled.

The clever design incorporates a dimmer switch which unlocks the true potential of the exposed LED bulbs. They can be dimmed in unison from a low to high setting with ease which gives the lamp real functionality meaning it can be used in a multitude of settings.

This lamp is a real conversation piece and will not only lighten up your space with a delicate and ambient tone but will also add a quirky and artistic note.
