Laura Jane Phelan is the artist behind LJ Phelan Artshop, creating digital prints and original acrylic paintings inspired by Ireland's landscapes, coastlines and familiar places. Working from her studio in Ardgillan Castle, Co. Dublin, she draws on a background in animation and design to create bold, contemporary artwork that captures the feeling of a place rather than simply its appearance.
