This piece is part of award-winning Dublin artist Francis Leavey's 'Inspired by Ireland' series. Ireland's highest peak, Carrauntoohil in the Macgillycuddy's Reeks range is located in Co. Kerry. Those mountains inspired this piece. The landscape of the South West is rich and varied. There is a strength and warmth to it that is reminiscent of a proud mother. She nurtures her children and invites them to explore, dream and discover. The piece name and inspiration are included on the back. Francis is a member of the Design & Crafts Council of Ireland.
