Skerries, the only west facing harbour on the east coast, never disappoints with its fabulous sunsets. This vibrant print is a wonderful example of Karen’s palette knife paintings. Each print is, printed, signed, numbered and mounted in a beautiful frame, by me at my studio in Skerries, County Dublin.

This square print is available framed in three sizes 30x30cm, 40x40cm and 60x60cm and unframed in 30x30cm.

Karen’s expressive style captures a variety of contemporary Irish subjects, working mostly with a palette knife, her vibrantly coloured paintings are characterised by vigorous slashes of buttery oil paint. Painting every day in her studio situated in the picturesque courtyard of the15th century restored watermill in Skerries, County Dublin. She is inspired by the magnificent beaches and rolling hills right on her doorstep on Irelands Ancient East.
